carlijn ginther is an adventurous photographer with dutch-austrian roots who calls amsterdam her home. she is a portrait photographer who believes the best camera is the one that allows for the most authentic connection.

carlijn’s love for storytelling through images and short films started when she learned that life’s charm could be captured and enjoyed beyond initial moments. she has documented life ever since.

specializing in intimate portraiture, she utilizes the iphone to bridge the gap between technical excellence and raw human emotion. by stripping away the barrier of heavy equipment, a space is created where subjects feel seen rather than "captured." her work is defined by the use of natural light, an eye for detail, and a belief that timeless imagery doesn’t require a traditional studio, only a connection with the person behind the lens.
