lost in time
Time moves fastest when we want it to stand still. Time goes slowest when we want it to speed. In this solo exhibition, carlijn ginther presents a curated sequence of seven cinematic photographs that capture the fleeting essence of time.
Set against a Mediterranean backdrop, these images live in the delicate space between holding on and letting go. They document moments that feel temporary as well as permanent. Temporary because it fades, and permanent because a memory can last a lifetime. Moments that feel destined to last forever.
The exhibition explores this duality of time. Time stretches and stops. The photographs do not just document a place or an age; they grasp the slightly melancholic ache of watching a perfect moment pass at the exact same time you are living it.
